My lifelong quest for freedom and self-expression was swiftly passed on to my sons Cormac and Nicholas.

My eldest Nicholas became a scuba diving instructor at 18 years old and went on to introduce me to diving in 2005, I was 39.

My first experience breathing underwater took place on a dive site in the Red Sea called Ras Katy, I surfaced speechless!

One year later, I became a PADI instructor, I was 40. I learned two things, its never too late, I could do anything I put my mind to!

My best sighting so far is a 6ft baby whale shark swimming with me at Eagle Ray Bay, Red Sea.

My Favourite Fish is the Torpedinforme, known as the Torpedo Ray or Electric Ray.

My love and biggest achievements are becoming a mother and a Scuba Diving Instructor.
