Green Season
June to November..
Costa Rica turns green under the daily supply of tropical rain. The climate relaxes from the summer heat and the plants thrive not only on land but in the ocean. The fresh downpour cools the surface reducing algae bloom and upwellings. The cooler water brings with it migrating Rays, sharks and new growth in our soft coral pinnacles!
Diving is usually early in the morning to avoid afternoon tropical weather which is much more enjoyable to watch with a cocktail form a local beach bar/restaurant.
Peak Season
December to May..
Rain stops, sun shines and the night sky full of stars. Rivers dry up and the water clears as such we find December through March treats us to some great diving conditions.
Majestic humpback whales, turtles and pregnant reef sharks using Samara as their nursing grounds.
There is one catch, you need to book fast!
Costa Rica is a prime destination, accommodation and spaces on our boats book up fast.
Book ahead to ensure you don't arrive in Samara to discover no space for you and your group.

Our Story
We are a Scottish team of 2 running local dive tours and training here in Samara. We moved and purchased the business, February 2023.
Slowly growing this dive school is fun and a great challenge and we hope you will join us for some diving!
History
We are a mum and son team with a love for travel and diving. From Scotland, Iceland, Egypt and Malaysia , diving has been our passion.
Scuba Diving and working in tourism around the world has shown us wonders, sites and life like no other. We want to share this with like minded divers and adventurers in this little jungle beach town paradise.
Skills
Both PADI instructors with a collective experience of 20+ years in many different environments, you will be in safe, yet fun hands with us in Costa Rica.
